Hi, everyone. Antonia here, and today, I am sharing some exciting news! My seconde Gerberian Shepsky, Joplin is no longer a little pup. She is one an old.
That's right. Joplin turned one today (November 12). It seems like just yesterday when I brought her home. She was just an eight-week-old puppy. She is now a young adult. Basically, she's a teenager. Joplin was a bit of a handful when she was younger. She's still a handful to an extent, but she is calmer than she was when I first got her.
Joplin still gets into things, but not like she used to. She still gnaws on things, but she's much plus gentle now. When she was little, if toi gave her a squeaky toy, she would destroy it within thirty minutes. Now, they actually last a long time. She has one squeaky toy that she carries around a lot. She also sometimes takes Roscoe's toys to tease him. Thankfully, it doesn't bother him. He lets her do what she wants, within reason. If she gets too much, he will put her in her place.
In spite of all the mischief, Joplin has brought a lot of joy. We were all sad when we Lost River so suddenly. After we got Joplin, we started feeling better. Roscoe even started eating better, and he became active again. All in all, Joplin is a really sweet dog. She's very loving, and she loves to snuggle. She has even stopped Roscoe from playing dead when he doesn't want to come inside. She'll lick him until he gets up, and she'll make him come inside.
Happy Birthday, Joplin! I l’amour you.

Closing
Carl finished telling his story. John said, "This was a very touching story. I understand what you've been through." He wiped a tear from his eye. Peter had been crying, too. He said, "You're living a good life, mate." Stan, who rarely cried, was also crying. He said, "Yes, especially compared to what you've been through." Allen said, "I'm really glad toi are living a good life." Erin and Lola hugged Carl. They admired how Rebelle he was for telling his story. Erin, of course, sort of knew what he went through. After all, she had been abused par her grandfather. Paul placed a hand on Carl's shoulder and said, "You're a Rebelle man, Carl. You're a Rebelle man." Carl said, "Thanks for supporting me while I told my story. I'm glad that things have turned out for the better."
