Their relationship might be rocky, but I don't think either of them would let the other go. Rumpel told her to leave once, & knows what it got him: I'm sure he'll do anything to hold onto her this time around.
It would get hard along the way because of his l’amour for power that she doesn't agree with, but Rumpel is NOT going to lose her again, and I doubt she'd leave his side. I like to think she would help him find Baelfire, too.
well, knowing OUATand their l’amour of torturing us, they will totes be endgame but the entire process will be as completely painful and horrible as possible.

Ohhh... but them interracting more! I hope Belle becomes a regular character on the montrer <3
In my mind I see two possible ways that this will play out.
1. She leaves him because of his abuse of power and decides that he was telling the truth when he a dit that his power meant plus to him than her. This is actually the happier storyline because it leaves room for him to redeem himself and them to get back together. 2. The other way I could see it going (and Rumbelle fans please dont kill me for this) is that she ends up getting killed, possibly because of him. This could lead to him being even plus evil than before.

that's very unlikely to happensince in the original story Belle and 'the beast" end up together. She loves him dearly and shows him that others, with human form, are the true beasts. Here Regina's the true monster. Princess-Yvonne posté 1 minute il y a
^the stories dont necassarily have to follow the originals though. And, yes, Regina is evil, but that doesnt make Rumplestiltskin less evil. He turned Gaston into a flower, turned a man into a escargot and killed him, killed his maid, and tried to take Cinderella's baby.
I feel that he is far less evil then Regina becuase everything he's done (from gaining power to creating the curse) has been fuled par his l’amour for Bae, and now par Belle as well. Regina has only been fuled par anger and hate. She can't understand love, nor the power it brings. This makes her far plus evil the Rumpel ever could be.
Okay, I l’amour him as a character, but as a person I feel like toi guys are seeing him as better than he is. He does have good traits, just like Regina has good traits. They also both have reasons for their actions, even if the reasons dont justify them. At the end of the jour though they are both murderers. She is a sociopath and he is power-mad.
I find it most interesting and intriguing this lust of his for power. He has greatness in his plans. He stopped a war and helped hundreds of children! He's not selfish and petty. He's a very intriguing evil character! I can never anticipate his moves!
I keep hearing theories about Belle being killed, and I kind of get it. However, unless the writers wish to have a group of angry Rumbellers kncking down their doors with machetes, it won't happen.
Highly doubt they would kill Belle. I know they can change the fairy tale, but destroying the Beauty and the Beast tale would be essentially total blasphemy as far as the tale is concerned. So no, I don't see that happening. What would be the point? It's one thin to change the story and details, it's another to throw completely out the window one of the most iconic fairy tales, if not the most. It would be no different than ruining the Snow White story ending.
I mean, they can change everything that happens in between, but changing the ending? No. And in the BatB the beast starts out evil,so that's canon. I'm not going to get into a discussion about Regina but I don't really see why everyone has to see them as equally bad ou good, no matter which character they like more.
^I never a dit everyone had to see them as equally bad ou good. I just think it is silly to call one of them evil, and then lsay the other one is just flawed ou something. As for changing the ending, they just killed Prince Philip. He may come back, but even if he does I still say that all bets are off and anyone can die. This montrer is from the creators of Lost after all.
I kind of think he's gonna choose power over Belle. I mean he chose power over his own son! And his son was plus important to him then Belle. So if he let his son go to keep his power then he'll probably do the same to Belle.

toi forget that Rumpel DID learn something from his past tragic experiences... What better proof than that he was willing to give the dagger to August (thinking he is Bae). Remember the words he sayid then! He Lost him once for power, and was not willing to lose him again for the same mistake.
Yes, but would he do it again, if anything that only proves what he'd do for Bae. Bae is one of the most important things he has (next to his power) that's the only reason Bae has a chance, I doubt he'd choose Belle over his power. In fact, in the episode skin deep he rejected her l’amour to keep his power. Of course he was upset upon hearing of her 'death', but he's just one of those people who doesn't see what he has until it's gone and too late.
I agree! It was only after he Lost Belle when he realised what he had: her true love! And the painful experience made a change in him: now he confessed without any restraints his l’amour to Belle and promised her to protect her <3
Some people don't learn from their mistakes. He a dit he was gonna protect Belle and he a dit he would choose Bae but will he actually do so? He a dit he'd do anything to get back on the right track with Bea but backed down upon find g out he'd lose his powers. He's made hundreds of empty statements.
And he never really choosed power over Belle. he didn't admit his feelings for her in the bigining because he thought NOBODY COULD EVER l’amour HIM... that is just so, so hartbreaking!
How I prcived things; There is a reason Regina wanted Belle to Kiss Rumple, and that was so that he'd lose his power. Rumple knew he'd lose his power at her Kiss and rejected it. Regina doesn't just help people and give them advice, she had her motive; to get rid of Rumple's power. Something tells me he picked up on this and shoved Belle aside.
Yes, totally! He thought Belle doesn't l’amour him, that she's just going along with Regina's plan, trying to get rid of the "monster" =(( this breaks my cœur, coeur every time ;( such a tragic lovestory
@zanhar1 I interpreted it as he didn't trust that Belle actually loved him and that's why he rejected her. He didn't think that it was worth the risk of losing his power because he doesn't think anyone can l’amour him. Plus, he had Bae to consider. I don't think he was willing to throw that all away when he didn't believe Belle could really l’amour someone like him.
I think they've got a lot to overcome, especially Gold, but I think they could work out. The problem are that or is so focused on his power for his own gain that it's hard to imagine him giving it up. But, if he uses it to help and defeat evil, maybe Belle and he can stay together
It's not that simple. While or obviously cares both about Belle and his power, there is another reason he chose his power over Belle in the first place: he needed it to create the curse to find his son. Even though the curse is now over, I'm guessing that he still wants power to find Bealfire. So, the question isn't really will he chose power ou Belle...it's will he chose his son ou Belle. Which one is plus important to him?
