We then turned to deep within the Everfree Forest, where King Sombra lay dormant. Red Rose, who aided in the killing of King Cobra, brought the news to her fallen fiancee. The last we saw our heroes, they had formulated a plan to kill the tyrant King Cobra. No sooner had this plan been brought up, King cobra and his elite soldiers took up residence in Ponyville. Sending one of his men to deliver a vial of his seductive venom to Cloudsdale (to be spread across Equestria), he found haven in Twilight's house (who, par the way, is trapped in the human world). After intercepting the vial, Snowflake flew back to the hideout (Sugarcube Corner), to find her Friends captured par King Cobra. She fled, unnoticed, to the Everfree forest, where she now sat with Tropical Breezes...

They had just formulated a plan to overthrow King Cobra, and had packed the necessary belongings for the road before them. Since it was evening, they planned on going in the morning. As they slept, one was still awake, far across Equestria.

King Cobra: (Hissing to himself) I can't wait to get a déplacer on and conquer this blasted land already. Hopefully I'll also find that sniveling coward King Sombra, so I can rip his horn right out of his skull!
