if I've heard a lot of good things about it, I might go and buy it new... otherwise I'll just wait and buy a used copy. I haven't been to a theatre or rented one in ages.
I love being able to get a copy for about the price of a rental, being able to keep it, and watch it at my convenience as often as I wish.

I used to go to the theater every Friday like clockwork... but the level of enjoyment of the experience has deteriorated to the point that it just isn't worth it.

Between the crying babies, talking kids, and cell phones.... I'll just wait for the DVD now.

ahh.. see I have to see it in the theater but, only if it is something I think is worth it.

If I really, really want to see it bad, then yeah, I go see it at the theater...

I'm too cheap to go to the cinema, besides sometimes we have to wait too long for the UK release so I just watch them online.

i go to 9pm sessions at cinemas so the amount of people is low and there is no chance of young children.

i watch it online, i hate going to the cinema. There are no crying babies or douche bag kids throwing junk around when i watching at home :) ...and stuff takes to long to get to aus, lol.

Very rarely do I go to the theater.

I love going to the cinema, but none of my friends can ever be bothered, and it's really expensive as well.

It's hard for me to pay attention to a movie when it's online. It's so much easier to see on the big screen and the quality is much better too. Sometimes I wait till it's at the dollar movies, because now it's like $9.50 on weekend nights, which is outrageous.

i read yahoo user reviews if i'm somewhat interested but can't decide whether or not it's worth it. if it's one i really want to see though, then i'm there within a week!

Though there arent' many movies I feel this way about. Most of my favs I have come across at Blockbuster

I try to... and if I miss it I'll wait until it's released on DVD.. but mostly I'll try to watch it in the movies!

Because I'm in college and it's annoying to take a bus to the movies and get out after the buses have stopped running, or wont be there in an hour and have to take a cab back. At home I see them in theater if I have a friend who's interested as well.

Boy, can I relate to the bus issue! I hate having to wait for what at times feels like forever (especially during winter). If there's anything good playing, it's either too far to get to, or like you said, doesn't let out until after you can't catch a bus back. Right now, money is an issue too, so I usually just watch the stuff I have at home on VHS or DVD. If I could watch videos on my computer, I'd probably be doing some of that too.

Which is usually the reason there are never any good DVD's I want to see.
