Marina and the Diamonds slams Jezebel for \'bitchy\' article about Taylor Swift\'s \'First Black Friends\'

'Feminist blog' Jezebel has come under fire today by Marina and the Diamonds for their treatment of Taylor Swift in an article titled 'Congratulations, Taylor Swift, on Your First Black Friends'.

The article talks about the writer's joy that Beyonce and JAY Z blessed Taylor with their presence at her 25th Birthday on Saturday night, and at the fact that Taylor Swift has finally found friends that 'don't look exactly like her'.

'Why so bitchy? Feminist blog, my ass', wrote Marina on Twitter, condemning the site to her 861,000 followers.

And it seems like Marina wasn't the only one thinking this - heaps of Twitter users echoed her discontent with Jezebel.

The article also entertains casual racism, containing paragraphs including the following:

"Yes, on Saturday night, Jay Z and Beyoncé attended Taylor Swift's 25th emoji-masked ball birthday celebration along with their very good white friend, Justin Timberlake. (Although, Justin definitely either perms or relaxes his hair, so he's really not even all the way in the white guy category but, I digress.)"

'Didn't know that our race is determined by our hair texture. Good to know!!!' said LiveJournal user backtoblack in response to the passage.
