I stood there, tears running down my face.I watched as his car disappeared.I walked into the house and went into my room and grabbed the picture album of us off my desk.
My best friend just told me he loved me and he had to move, all the way to California. It wasn't fair, but then again life isn't fair. I was looking at the picture from when we went to a carnival. We stuffed pop corn, maïs soufflé in each others mouths. I felt plus tears come down,my vision getting blurry. I wiped them away and called Amber, my best friend since frist grade.
"Hello."She said.
"Hey,Am.It's Kayla, I need toi to come over with the heartbreak special." I said. I heard her sigh.
"Is it that bad?"She asked me.
"Yeah, he told me he loved me." I a dit and start crying again.
"Okay, I'm on my way right now." She a dit and hung up. I layed on my bed, crying silently. I heard my door open;I looked over my shoulder and saw Amber standing there. She looked at me and wrapped me up in her arms. She let me cry.
"He told me he loved me and then left.He left me." I told her...I was now crying uncontrollably. She was trying to sooth me. She handed me the pint of ice cream and a spoon.
Beep-Beep...Beep-Beep....Beep-Beep
My computer was going off, some on was trying to Skype me. I walked over to my computer and pushed the button.I saw my web cam light turn on.
He was staring at me.Jesse was staring at me.He looked sad.
"Hey"He said."What's wrong?Have toi been crying?" He asked me, sounding concerned. I shook my head no.
"I'm sick." I said. I wasn't lying. I had a broken heart. There was no cure to that. "How's L.A so far?" I asked him blinking away the tears.
"It's good. I miss toi though."He said. I could see the brim of his eyes.
"I have to go." I a dit and ended our video chat. I curled up in the chair and start crying again. Amber walked into my room and just looked at me.
"You need to go out, I'm taking toi to a party tonight, and I'm not taking no for an answer."She said.I hated her sometimes. I gave her the death glare.
"Oooooo, that really scare me."She a dit all sarcastic like. She pulled on my arm and dragged me into the bathroom.
