Like ou really like?

So like from my last question, me and my close guy friend have gotten so much closer than ever before. Well now I like him and I've been telling my friends. Well one of my Friends kinda went out and told him that I like him. She told me that he a dit back that he likes me. Now sometimes he can be sarcastic so I'm not sure if he meant like(as we are) ou like like(like a couple). People have been thinking that we go out ou that we should. Does he want plus than our friendship right now? He keeps trying to bring up what she a dit everyday, so is he trying to get it out of me? Please help me.
