Sam leaned against the Carly’s dining table, tableau with a root bière in hand as she waited for Freddie to walk downstairs. When the dork finally came down Sam darted under the table. “Hello? Anyone here?” he called. He shrugged and said, “Guess not.” he went to the fridge and grabbed a fruit kabob. He gnawed on the pineapple when he heard someone snicker. “Who was that?
