ItHuddy Sorry but even though I'm a hardcore Huddy I'm not going to sign that petition. Much as I'd die do see the extra footage I don't think that's the right way to ask for it. I read the petition and even though some parts are in good fun I don't like the overall tone...seems as fans are always ready to find fault with the writers and their job. We've been craving for this Huddy relationship like crazy since forever and now what? All we can do is point our fingers on the most peddling details and beef about this and that. Truth is Huddies are never happy...or at least that's the way it comes off. And it's sad because really those people there are doing a terrific job this year and managing to find a balance between the medical stuff and the Huddy romance. And instead of thanking and complimenting them there we are shooting down their work and being a PITA. Personally I found the premiere this year a terrific episode. When I first watched the opening scenes the gentleness and intensity of those first minutes brought tears to my eyes. And that's both thanks to Hugh and Lisa's amazing acting and to the rest of the crew's skills. I think it was just perfect... It's sad people can never let go and just enjoy and be grateful! I really think our beloved peeps would like some warmth on the fans' part sometime, huh? Well I'm giving them mine...I know my opinion doesn't count much but well...let's say it's my drop in the bucket :-))

MirandaScully I liked the premiere, but it was by no means a terrific episode. I didn't find the writing brilliant, let alone the dialogue. It was fun, and it was sweet. It was romantic, yes, and I cried too. But if compared with the quality of other House episodes, then I must say it lacked some wit and continuity, probably due to the many re-writing and a bad editing. Episode 2 was a lot better, and every episode of this season is truly great: I can see an improvement, we're back to the good ol' Golden Days. I think they'll never give us an extended version, but we can try and we should. Besides, even if you didn't like what's written there, wouldn't you just love to get more Huddy sexing?

It's not worth going to always look for the hair in the egg. In the past I entered in other sites to read the various reviews and opinions but now I'm tired of reading comments very often critical or even over the top to the trend of the seasons, the choices of the writers compared the plot, I don't like to see people always with the gun pointed (too little cuddy, too much wilson, too little wilson, too much cuddy, claim to know why there's no Cameron anymore, hating 13, loving 13, and so on). And I say this as someone who likes criticism, adversarial, discussion, comparison. But I don't like hypes and especially I think, from what I read reported by others, that continuing to indulge the delusions of GY grandeur is absolutely detrimental. Also I think we should give writers more rewards and less critical because I'm sure House will be a unique experience for me and this thanks to all of them and their hard work, because I'm sure they love the series immensely (as much as us or maybe more, at least for DS). A wise old man said: life is like a henhouse stair...it's short and full of shit. So let's not complicate it ourselves... I like this place because we can seriously discuss and have also fun and joke, and discussions are always respectful of others' opinions. So thanks to share your opinion because you've given me the opportunity to think better on mine :-))

ItHuddy @mirandascully Well guess we're not on the same page about the premiere which is fine as we don't have to agree on everything :-) the thing is that the writing is the very thing I loved about the episode besides Hugh and Lisa's terrific acting of course. I understand the medical case was weak for House's standard but they had to sacrifice that in order to give us Huddy. And by Huddy I mean a full on Huddy episode as each one of us fans had been expecting all along. If they had focused more on the medical case they should have cut back on the Huddy a lot. And all Huddies would have been unhappy then. This said, the Huddy dialogue was perfectly into character to my mind: the scar, House's being hard pressed to say the L word out loud, House worrying the relationship is not going to last...right through the very last scene where Cuddy gives him the only reason that could keep him in the relationship: she doesn't want him to change. Idk..I just found the Huddy dialogue spot on. As for the extended scenes yes of course I'd love to see them! But I just don't see it kosher asking for them now. It only puts us Huddies/Hulies in a bad light by making us look greedy and unappeasable. You know how much I love Huddy and Huli, as a matter of fact I'm among the oldest fans out here.. but I just think people are too much sometimes. They keep pushing and pushing and don't know where they should draw the line. I think we owe that much to Hugh and Lisa, if anybody else. So well as you may have noticed my reasons go far beyond what's in that petition... But thank you for respecting my opinion :-) @fran2 Thank you for your support and I second everything you said! Glad to know I'm not alone and somebody else picked up on that :-)
