Superstar12225 picked Neville Longbottom:
They both were bullied and socially awkward but Neville was the better Peter. He was what Peter could have been.

D_J267 picked Vincent Crabbe:
I guess, he was a hanger on with James Sirius and Remus the way Crabbe is with Draco, although I read this interesting article once it was written way before the last few books, that suggested that Ginny had a lot of traits in common with Pettigrew too.

DarkSarcasm picked Percy Weasley:
Both turned on those that loved them for power - Wormtail for Voldemort's protection, Percy for his status at the Ministry. At least Percy saw the error of his ways and stopped being a dick before he caused any real damage.

..the big loser who latched onto someone better looking and more popular, and never had a girlfriend.

Wow, that's true. I like ecpjill's solution.

I'd say the Pansy Parkinson of his generation. Pansy was always sucking up to Draco and always choose to save her own ass instead of remaining loyal to anything.

Oh, by the way I really hated in DH2 when McGonagall ordered all Syltherins to leave. I mean NOT ALL Slytherins think like Pansy.

LadyBrock picked Vincent Crabbe:
He was nothing like Neville. Neville never tagged along with others. He always stood for what he believed in, even if he had to go against his friends and he persisted in everything he did. He never looked for the easy way out. Neville is one of the strongest characters in HP. The closest from this pick is Crabbe.

I think Peter Pettigrew was the exact opposite of Snape.
