Well I've been écriture a little fanfic recently and I realized that when I write fanfic, I mostly let my character's handle the plot. Whatever happens to pop in my head at the time, and doesn't go completely against the global, ensemble story line, gets put in the fanfic.
But Smeyer says that she wrote Twilight par just "letting her characters handle the plot". There par making it seem a lot like how, not only I, but other people, write fan fiction.
I decided to look up some reasons of what makes a good fan fiction:
"1. Choose the anime/manga/book/video game/movie toi want your fan-fic to be about." Vampire's aren't an original topic. Believe me they are amazing!!! but Meyer isn't the first person ever to write a vampire novel.
"2.Come up with a storyline." I've read stories par 9 an olds that have plus of a plot than Twilight.
"3.Compose your opening paragraph." Anyone with the ability to write can to this.
"4.Add a new element to your story that makes it unique and interesting." Well I'd say that sparkling vampires are 'new' and 'unique'. Even if it isn't in a good way, necessarily.
"5.Add plus details." Saying that Edward is 'pale', 'cold', and 'granite-like' counts right? RIGHT?!?!?
"6.Further develop the story." Well Meyer, toi kinda failed here. But I suppose this is where toi wrote "Eclipse"
"7.Come up with a conclusion." How about a simple cliché? 'We continued into our small but perfect piece of forever' AKA 'Happily ever after'.
"8.Reread your entire fan-fic." 'BUT I'M SO BUSY! I'd never have time to read my own book! Besides, *I* was the one who had the wet dream!!!
"9.Share your work with others." Meyer, I really wish toi hadn't.
"10.Take constructive criticism." I think she missed a step.
Well I just think this proves that Twilight is really over-long fanfiction!

Hello everyone!
I'm planning on écriture a letter to Stephenie Meyer regarding the Twilight series. I wanted to address all the points many people do not like in the series. The letter is going to be friendly and straight-forward. I wanted to hear what everyone would want me to include. These are a few of the topics I am going to be including:
- Anti-feminism
- Abusive relationship
- Unhealthy obsession
- Lust does not equal l’amour
- Bella is horribly rude to her Friends (not valued friendships)
These are just a few. Please add anything and if there is something specific you'd like me to add.
I'll be working on this letter and posting on Sunday on Fanpop, so I can add anything else and have your approval and then I will send it to her.
I understand that Seth probably won't let it get to her, but it's worth a shot and I will post his reply (assuming he does reply.)
Thank you! :)
