I woke up sweating and coughing, unable to breath. I saw four figures huddled over me. . . It's it's... Rico! Kowalski! Private! Amber! Their alive!
"I'm- your- we- we aren't dead!" I yelled.
"no, but toi almost drowned in your own fit of coughing. toi ok?" kowalski asked.
"yeah, fine, your not zombies, so," I said.
"but toi coughed blood on nmy face!" amber complained. I saw the red staines on her feathers.
"wait, so, so it was a dream? All the the zombies?" I asked.
"is that why toi kicked me in the chest?" private asked.
"oh, uh, yeah. About that... Me and amber kinda killed the zombified versions of toi three. Then we died of the same disease that killed toi all. Hehe." I explained.
"hm. It's funny. I remember the same exact dream. All of us died. Except skipper."
Turns out we all had the exact same nightmare. But each one's cut off when they died. As did mine.
It's funny, how thing like this happen.

[ Monday morning, 6:00 am]
I woke up, happy and smiling, glad to be alive, but even happier that the world wouldn't be over taken par zombies. Then the other four got up.
"ugh! I hate Monday mornings!" ambe exclaimed.
"I know." kowalski said, "they make me slow!"
Amber stuck her arms straight out, "yeah, like a zombie!"
