FGT is having a haiku contest as a pre-show for the main event happening later in June/July.
RULES
1) It MUST be a HAIKU. Any other type of poem soumis will not be considered for the contest, though it will be appreciated!
2) One user may soumettre up to three haikus. They may soumettre less, if they choose. But three is the maximum.
3) All haikus must be soumis par JULY 1ST, 2010.
4) Post your haikus in a commentaire in this article. I will gather them all into a seconde submissions article on JULY 1ST.
I would like two ou three people to volunteer to pick their ten favori haikus and put them into a pick to be voted upon. Haikus will be labeled par numbers and letters in the article to try and avoid bias. For example, say someone submits two haikus, and someone else submits three haikus:
1. A) First Haiku
B) seconde Haiku
2. A) First Haiku
B) seconde Haiku
C) Third Haiku
Each number denotes haikus par the same poet, so toi can write a haiku series if toi want. They will be posté in the order that the poet posts them here.
For those of toi who have forgotten, ou who have never learned what a haiku is, here is the basic format. A haiku is a Japanese short poem that is three lines long. The structure is as follows:
Five syllables
Seven syllables
Five Syllables
If your haiku bends ou breaks the syllable rule par one ou two, it will still be considered under the rule of poetic license.
So what are toi waiting for, writers? Get cracking and montrer us your best haikus!

This article lists all of the entries for the first Fanpop's Got Talent competition for easy reference, and was last edited on 10 July 2008 (added voting instructions to the end). I checked with amazondebs - the Boss - about it first, and this should be used to augment link. They're listed here par order of submission, except (possibly) in cases where I didn't see which of different kinds of submissions (images, articles) were soumis first on the same day. Where the participants have listed which talents are to be considered, those talents are listed as well.
