I don't think so. They appear to be automatically earned. If toi didn't want them for some reason toi could just choose not to use them. Then you'd only be able to vote for the appearances of small clubs and ones toi have a medal in, and you'd be limited to only icones in terms of profil personalisation.
its not optional , i think toi can use fanpop without any problem without gold. its just for little things like notifications bar color and personalisation things.Just dont pay attention to it and toi will have no problems.
