the Filles aka the Daughters of the King- Girls who where sent to Canada from France in the 1600's to marry Quebec men.

April Raintree- An aboriginal girl growing up in the 50's

Heart House- Opened its doors to war torn childeren from England in the 1940's to come live with Canadian families.

Anne of Green Gables- the spunky red headed orphan from Prince Edward Island.
