Both have lovely white hair, both are strongly connected to magic and myth (they even have magical powers), both have deep secrets that they don't share with the rest of the world, both tend to be aloof and secluded (which make them rather rude and awkward when dealing with people), they're often serious or depressed, and the person they love the most gave them a bit of humanity during their adventure.

Amalthea's my girl, but Elsa is fine in the context of her movie. Come to think of it, it would be cute to see them bond...

I understood her "aloofness" much more than I did Elsa's. I figure, this was because The Last Unicorn movie spent so much time developing Amalthea as a character. Elsa got less development overall. With the groundwork, I could then really understand the unicorn's "private horror" at her identity being transformed into a human-- a form that she herself could not recognize. I'm blabbing again. Someone stop me...

^Yeah, it made sense why she was horrified. Nobody would like to be turned randomly into a different species altogether.

I've a feeling Elsa only wins this round because fanpoppers are biased against characters they don't know :\
