I choose 2D because the DPs look more beautiful and I prefer the beautiful blending and usage of colors in 2D. I also have a respect and appreciation for all of the extra hand-drawn hard work & talent that is required of 2D. I'm also not a special-effects kind of person. Plus the CGI also makes the DPs look fatter and bulkier which isn't pleasant to me.

I think what's insulting is that Walt Disney Animation Studios has shut down its 2D animation. Talk about Lazy with a capital L and pandering to the lowest common denominator. Walt Disney is rolling in his grave as we speak.

For some reason...3D is starting to wear-out on me. I mean, it begins to really look "cheap and fake" on everything from Disney to blockbuster hits that aren't Disney. It lessens my enjoyment overall, because I know it's a green screen behind everything.

Actually I love both, but I choose 3D because like I said in my question, I love detailed in 3D animation <3 (for peoples who live in development countries like me, made special effect in 3D is so hard). But don't think that I didn't respect 2D animator. I still respect them, but it's just about taste!

Definitely! Disney's CGI animation is not as good as example Dreamworks's. If we talking about Dreamworks animations too then it's a hard one. How to Train Your Dragon, Rise of the Guardians etc. have way better animation than Tangled or Frozen, which is kind of strange because Disney Studios is such a big company and yet they're still "lazy" with their CGI animations. :?

I find 2D animation more artistic and also I think there is a lot more soul in it. I love good CGI animation, but Disney's CGI is far from the best: it is detailed, but yet I still find it somehow too flat, especially the facial expressions.

I like both, but a lot of CGI characters look odd to me. I guess it depends on the style.
I think CGI looks great in backgrounds, but hand-drawn can be as well.
It really depends on how well the animation is on both ends.
As someone who loves drawing, I can really appreciate the art of hand-drawn animation, and I'm often inspired by it.

In general i prefer 3D because it gives your more clarity, better definition to environment and things and detailing is amazing. It has a lot of potential to take animation to something great and magical. However, Disney's 3D/CGI is not as fully advanced and looks pre-mature, especially in Disney Princess movies. There are movies having scenes that are particularly spectacular - tangled's tower, tangled's floating lantern, kingdom dance, frozen ice castle, Elsa's dress transformation, Brave's forest scenes. I don't really enjoy the characters developed in CGI, they do look somewhat plasticy.
2G was awesome for its subdued charm and characters were beautifully designed - Cinderella, Aurora. Belle, Ariel. However, I'm not a fan of 2G animation in most movies. Only BATB, TLM and Aladdin, landscapes of Pocahontas were of great quality and it gave that sense of both magical as well as being detailed.

Easily! Not only does 2D just personally look nice to me but Disney's 3D really isn't that good. Other studios make films that look better that Frozen ALL THE TIME, and were doing for years before Frozen even came out. There's also the fact that 3D is pretty limited and looks terrible just a few years after it's made when new technology is developed.
