They're both awkward, selfless, clumsy, naive, insecure, have been isolated, hyper, energetic, and gullible. However, unlike Anna, Rapunzel is incredible well developed and is very intelligent. I like Anna but she's stupid. It's not just the fact that Anna isn't very original that make her nothing special. It's not even that she doesn't have character develop because Snow White and Cinderella don't have any and they're great characters. It's the fact that Anna isn't a very engaging character and a lot of the traits that her and Rapunzel share are over the top. She's kind of like a satire of a Disney Princess, which she isn't meant to be. They tried too hard to make Anna likable, which they didn't really do with Rapunzel. Rapunzel comes off as a more natural and well-rounded character, Anna doesn't. posted il y a plus d’un an.

	AudreyFreak picked Yes.: What Disnerd said. If anything I think Anna is Rapunzel done right. And yes, they're very different. Rapunzel is exceedingly cautious even if she does take some risks and we know Anna is... not. Anna never gave up on Elsa even when she had very good reason to do so and I don't know that Rapunzel would do the same seeing as how quick she was to do something she believed would hurt Gothel. Rapunzel was wanting to see the world and needed to spread her wings a bit, and Anna wanted emotional connections because she was shut out and not allowed to see anyone. Rapunzel starts out very insecure and a bit clingy, Anna starts out super confident in everything save for being near Elsa at the party. Even their appearances are different- Rapunzel has softer features with a vague ethnicity and Anna's upturned eyes, cheekbones and pointed features are distinctively Nordic. And btw, if you're gonna say Anna is a physical ripoff, you'd better say Elsa is too. Why is it only Anna ever gets that criticism, especially when the same people often say she looks too much like Elsa? posted il y a plus d’un an. last edited il y a plus d’un an
