Though she could have been a cool villain (no pun intended).
Also, what's up with the picture I used for the "villain" option? It wasn't in Let it Go, but it was in the Japanese trailer. Was that in her villain stage?

I think I'd like both but misunderstood really helps the audience see the character of Elsa as something different than just a witch who has ice powers but instead someone who the audience can relate to. It also shows how someone with magical powers who freezes a kingdom can be good and not evil.

Yep. This is how I already see her. I think it cool that she seems to be turning into a villain and then holds herself back at the last minute. And who could blame her for wanting to turn into a villain? She's told she's a monster all her life she probably already thought she was the villain.

Since she gets so much hate for being the way she is in the movie, (on fanpopl that is) I think some people might prefer her as a villain. I think I would, even though I like the way she is. I'm just all for bad-ass females. I thought Elsa was going to be like that when I saw the trailer.

I honestly don't know how I would feel if she was a villain. I might like her, or I might not. It depends on her personality. But I think she is good the way she is. Like BKG said, I like the way they made Elsa lots of people with insecurity and anxiety can relate to her.

Both would do for me. But if she was villain she should've had character development.

Definitely villain. I don't know why they made Hans the villain.

If she being a villain like the other Snow Queen adaptation maybe the film would be not so popular and highest grossing like now.

Elsa's characterization in the movie as misunderstood ISN'T VERY SATISFYING TO ME. And since the whole movie revolved around her mistakes---- neglecting her characterization really undercut the whole story. So because Elsa's characterization was so bad, I hate her, whereas if she had had better motives, I might have liked her. It would have been better if she had been the villain--- instead of the STUPID HANS.

I would had like for her to be the villain and then become good by the end of the movie, like if she was in a kind of spell or something and Anna broke it at the end.

Misunderstood is boooring... I would prefer (by far) to see her as a villain but if Disney still wants to end her as a good girl, just redeemed her.

Well the fact of the matter is if she was the villain, I would think of her as even more stupid, literally she can't sort anything out, and to become a villain over a minor event would be distasteful, but all the same Hans was terrible plot change and makes the whole film even messer than it already is.
