As much as I LOVE Ariel, I know it had to be a A PAIN in the ass not to be able to say anything to Eric. I do think Ariel and Eric did have lots of conversations off-screen ( preceding the wedding). In the case of Rapunzel and Eugene, they were both motormouths, and almost couldn't shut-up exchanging words for the whole movie, hahaha.

I'm somewhere in between.

In between. If you don't talk you can't know each other but talking too much is a bit boring. Sometimes quiet moments mean a lot.

I think Ariel and Eric kind of fall into a third category. Where it starts off as love at first sight but when they actually meet they have to actually get to know each other and work on that. I think Aladdin and Jasmine also fall in that category but whatever! Anyway I do prefer couples like this because they do tend to be more developed. My favorite Disney Princess couple is Belle and Beast.

Both EQUALY, I don't think it's essential for someone to communicate and fully understand each other for them to be happy together and frankly those are some of the cutest couples. However I also believe that getting to know one another unlocks a great honesty in a relationship. Simply enjoying one's company despite what they are or what they think is beautiful and it doesn't always rely on looks or lust. Also getting to know and understand the inner workings and mysteries of someone can ultimately form the better relationship, I like both really.

^I agree with that, though my top favorite couples are mostly the love at first sight ones.

I don't generally mind either way, but just seeing how happy they are TOGETHER as Belle described is really cute and touching to me. I frankly don't care for long romantic conversations or whatever.

Hellboy is probably my favorite movie and I thought the ending was one of the most romantic scenes I've ever seen, where he threatened Death himself and brought Liz back from the dead. They quickly embrace and just look so relieved to be together again. She asks him what it was he said to bring her back and he tells her, and they kiss, and Liz (a pyrokinetic) engulfs them both in her blue fire to signify their passion. (Trust me, the scene is probably better than I'm describing it.)

Maybe I prefer this type because I can relate to it more- my boyfriend and I talk for hours every day but we're also the type who just enjoy each other's company more than anything.

The other one is nice too ^^ Only I think this one is more romantic <3 The girl is the talkative one and the boy is the quieter one, hmm??? ^_^

In certain romantic moments, yes, but probably not all the time being quiet.

NOT Ariel and Eric though. She loves his hot mug and he just likes her pretty voice. That's not love, that's shallowness.
