I don't hold Ariel wanting to go to the surface or turn herself human against her. The movie goes to great pains to establish she already wanted those things BEFORE she saw the prince. I do, however, hold her personality against her. Even before seeing Eric or deciding to go become human, I found her repugnantly selfish, inconsiderate, self-serving, etc. posted il y a plus d’un an.
