I hated Merida; reason being, I just kinda got influenced by all the negative energy directed at her when I joined. I love her now, and quite frankly, I expect her to be moving up on my list. c;

She used to be really high but then I got influenced by all the negative stuff. But now I LOVE her agin and she is pretty high :)

I didn't watch brave nor did I want too. I though Merida would be bitchy and bratty and I didn't want anything to do with her. Then I watched her movie, and I loved her :3

I was crazy excited to see Brave when it came out and I made my boyfriend at the time go with me, and I was so disappointed. I liked how it tried to focus on a mother daughter relationship, but I don't think it did it as well as it could. The only real moment we see her bond with her mom during the movie during present day was when she helps her catch the fish. They could have developed it so much better. And it also made me extremely uncomfortable that she would give her mom that cake, not really knowing what it could do to her. After joining fanpop, I now see how beautiful Merida really is and I focus more on the good aspects of her (not needing a guy, her independence) but she's still one of my least favorite princesses. Oh and I love Touch the Sky thanks to fanpop because people kept talking about how they loved it so I kept listening to it :)

I used to like her but I didn't think she was pretty. Since joining I still like her and now I see that she has her own unique brand of beauty that I appreciate, although I still think most of the others are prettier. At least she's not my least pretty anymore. I actually like her more now, in general.

It never changed. Well, I do like her more now. I like how she wants to change her situation (not her mom) and the relationship she shares with her mother. But I don't think she will rise on my list.

I liked her alot, but now I love her!

Well I been member only a short while, but I feel a bit more positively about her after I have red what others think of her. However she is still my least favorite and least beautiful, and I think she should no be in the DP line since she is Pixar.

I hated Merida, and now I despise her.

I used to think she was little better than Ariel and was second to last on my list. Then as I got to talking about her I realized I liked her more than I allowed myself to and now now I like her most after my favorite princesses. She's about #5.

well it went from no opinion (hadn't seen her movie) to slight dislike (i don't like rash and selfish characters) to meh/like (I do like that the point of the movie was an arc towards goodness and that apology does give me the feels and doesn't just glance on the fact she did something wrong, her intentional poisoning of her mom still bugs me but its hard to hate a character that the movie makes a point to acknowledge that she is meant to change for the better)
