I don't think these three are the most underrated: well, not Pocahontas. She has gained a lot of fans recently. The most underrated imo are: Ariel, Jasmine and Snow White (in no particular order). After them, Cinderella.

I don't think Ariel is underrated :) But poor Pocahontas and Jasmine are :(

Anyway, all three are underrated but each in their own ways. Pocahontas is critisized and ignored, Jasmine is just forgotten and nuetral here, not really appreciated as much as she should be, but Ariel is just hated even though she does have a few fans here.

Gus, Snow White is not underrated at all. She has tons of fans here, i don't know where people are getting this idea that she is underrated. I personally think she isn't at all. I think I shoukd have put cindy here, I don't know why i forgot her.

Aliyah - She was in the bottom 2 of the latest Fanpop's Favorite Princesses.

..Not too sure why everyone seems to think the classics are oh so popular now. I did a countdown only a week or so ago with more than thirty lists and Aurora was in last, then Snow, then Cindy. Sure they have more fans now, and they're fans are often outspoken about their love, but they're still the least favorites here despite what some people think. I think the reason people don't realize they're lacking fans is that the people who have the classic low seem to feel bad about it or guilty, which is totally not okay. I feel that recently there's this unspoken rule that having the classics high means you're cool and unique and having them low means you're rude and misguided, which I really hate (even though I have the classics all really high, I've noticed this).

Anyways, Pocahontas doesn't get nearly enough credit. Her bravery isn't spoken about enough on here, and overall her personality just doesn't get the attention it deserves.

^I've noticed the rule too. I've seen people say: "Oh, I want to move the classics higher but I don't have space" or something like that. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing one of my girls in the top 5, but just because you have them low it doesn't mean you're a Classic hater and people will lynch you.

Outside of Fanpop I never hear anyone talk about her and you never hear kids say that she's their favorite, everyone ignores her and she is like the only one they never seem to make merchandise of anymore. Jasmine and Ariel are still pretty well remembered and popular outside of Fanpop I think.

With Ariel and Pocahontas I can see why some people don't like them, but most of the reasons for disliking Jasmine is that people think she's a 'bitch' or something, which isn't true. As for the Classic discussion, I think the reason people (including me) think that they're popular on Fanpop now is that almost all of the active Fanpoppers have them high on their lists. With countdowns and such, people who aren't so active usually give their lists, but all of the active, often-commenting, article writing users have the Classics high. So technically, they're unpopular, but they get a lot of love from the active users.

Still. Though I rarely see someone criticised her harshly as Ariel.

I don't think Jasmine is underrated. Many people have her high on their list, even as their no.1 favorite princess. Lately, Ariel is criticized severely, but still her big fans are defending her. Meanwhile, Pocahontas is often overlooked and I seldom find her fans who put her as their number one favorite princess. Other princess whom I find underrated is Snow White.

There are people who hate Ariel but there are also a lot who love her, while it's hard to find someone whose favorite princess is Pocahontas. It's a shame.

None of these are particularly underrated. Definitely not Ariel! She's always been so wildly popular! And for every criticism she gets, she has 10 fans defending her, so not very underrated there.

I adore Pocahontas but she's pretty respected here, it's just IRL that she's underrated.

Jasmine too, she's well liked here and fairly irl, though less so now that Tiana has taken her place in the franchise.

And Snow is definitely underrated. People here still call her stupid and annoying and few people IRL like her as much as they do Belle, Ariel, Mulan, and Rapunzel. Same for Aurora, almost nobody IRL even knows her name or anything about her personality (which is sometimes true even here).

Alright, for the people that said Ariel has a lot of defense, it feels like this because her fans are very vocal. People tend to exagerate on Ariels fans, she does not have that many fans here. All her fans are just very vocal so it seems like she has twenty fans.

And AudreyFreak, if I'm not mistaken you haven't been here in a long time. How should you know who is loved or not. I hate when classic fans decide they are going to start giving their long talk about how the classics are underrated when they are not. Lately, EVERYONE has been making these "in defense of the classics" articles and stuff like that and it's just like "defense from what?" They rarely get hate, and if you do hate on one of them everyone goes on with their "the classics are underrated speech". I'm sorry for sounding rude, I just really felt in the mood to rant, nothing against you in particular. But Snow White has gained tons of fans. And everyone here knows her personality, everytime we bring up the classics people start talking about their personalities and stuff. The reason why they are losing in countdowns is because the people that participate in favorite princess countdowns are always the non active users that barely even come here at all. The ones that nobody even knows. The ones that are active all love the classics.

Wher did she give any speech now? She just stated that she finds Snow White and Aurora underrated. And lately there have been articles defending them? I' sorry, but that isn't true: it's been months since the last one, and I only remember three: mine, Mongoose's and Jen's.

I don't think Ariel is underrated (although she does receive a lot of backlash), but the other two are quite low on my list, so I'll go with her.

But I can definitely see why Pocahontas is unpopular. I don't think the Classics are popular but they are greatly appreciated, not only on Fanpop but outside the Internet too.

i consider underrated as not getting enough attention and if there's anything ariel gets its attention. pocahontas gets very little attention too

^It's not about your definition of underrated, in debate you can't go by what you consider to be the definition of a word. According to dictionary.com, the definition of underrated is "to rate or evalutate too low, underestimate"
