I believe that Damon can bring the old Elena to life, the girl who had fun and just lived life. So Damon and Elena are slowly re-awakening each other, it takes time its a work in progress, it does not run a smooth course but its about the journey they are on to get to that point. Even though they may try to push each other away at times because they are both afraid to come out of that safety zone, that safety net which brings about vulnerability. I certainly get the point, and oh, my, did I let it out in Shadow Souls. toi are right. I was just telling a Swedish reader that toi should always follow your cœur, coeur and in SS I did follow my heart. I didn't think anyone would like the book because it was about another dimension and the girls were slaves--my publishers tried so hard to cut that out, but I felt that Damon was plus mature when he had a "family" to care for. With that book, I followed my cœur, coeur in everything.

There are some Stelena scenes, too, and I meant them; I felt them....

At the end of this season, I'm almost 100% shure that she will choose Damon, ou choose to be alone. People say ''She will choose Stefan, it's an obvious-boring choice.'' I would say the same thing, an ago. Now, no. She loves them both, so it's not about l’amour now. It's about who was there for her, the whole year. Who was good and caring, who loved her, and she treated him badly, because she couldn't admit her feelings. It's about that. About him. It's either Damon, ou no one.
