I started reading it when it was still a fanfic, back when Bella & Eddie were the main characters, so I did picture them. Never finished it, since it was kinda stupid.

But I can sense that the main two characters are very similar to Edward and Bella.

But my cousin did before I told her it was a fanfic first, and she kind of balked at me. She's one of these people who've read all the Twilight books more than four times each and knows them backwards and forwards, so when I started to tell her all of this, she argued with me.

I want to read them, and I'm trying to clear the whole thing out of my mind so that I can maybe enjoy the story even though I've heard a lot of bad reviews for it --- especially the interaction between the two main characters and all the sex, but that's for another comment.

Edit: And now that I've read the first book, I won't be reading the last two, no matter how much "good" stuff happens in them. Sorry.

Yes. Eight chapters in, and Christian Grey keeps on reminding me of Edward Cullen.

I read all three books before I learned about the fanfiction. So... no. They were entity different people.
