Can someone explain how Bella tossed Jacob to the side after Edward returned in New Moon?

Where did this happen? As far as I remember, Jacob was the one who ignored and avoided Bella, while she was trying to contact him.

The only time she ignored him was after he forced her to Kiss him, and that didn't last long at all.

Is not dating someone considered throwing one to the side? Despite the constant contact they kept?

Jacob warns Bella that it could be a trap, and she ignores his assessment and decides to go in anyway. Not long after, she leaves Forks (at great risk to her own life) to rescue Edward.

Personally, I didn't have a problem with it at all; I'm glad she went. Why was it wrong? Because it hurt Jacob's feelings? Sure, that was a shame! But would she have been better to let Edward die? I don't understand.

The thing I was actually pissed off about is how Bella is whining about how unfair Jacob is for ignoring her.

Also how she was glaring at him and jouer la comédie like a b*tch to him when Alice was with her in the house. She was basically ignoring him and calling him a coward after all that he's done to protect her from Victoria.

I a dit ignoring. While I understand that she was in a panic that Edward's gonna kill himself (although they didn't really seem in a rush a first). Bella was brushing Jaob off.

Well, he was trying to stop her from saving his life, i don't see why not doing why being annoyed with him was wrong, ou how that equals "tossing him to the side". Unless people believe she's supposed to obey all guys in her life, no matter how horrid their requests are.
