Finally, my "Top 10 Classic Animated Disney Movies" is finished! Why would such a simple liste take plus than an heure to write? Because I had to watch all the films on the liste to determine an official order, of course. That's totally normal, right? That's what the voices in my head tell me. ;D
#1 - Peter Pan (1953) A girl being forced to grow up is visited par an orphan and his pixie friend who whisks her and her brothers away to a fantaisie land filled with mermaids, Indians, pirates and orphans dressed in adorable animal costumes....
There's just something about the quality and authenticity of an old family movie that can't be replicated nowadays.
Disney produced a looot of great live-action and hybrid films over the years, but they always seem to get overshadowed par the animated ones. (Not to knock the animated movies, I have a liste of those on the way too.) Here are my haut, retour au début 10 live action and hybrid classics, for that good old fashioned Disney feel:
A Disney Tale: Jiminy Cricket introduces two tales - Bongo the ours (a slightly disturbing tale of l’amour in the ours community) and Mickey and the Beanstalk (a Disney version of the well-known fairytale).
Disney Hero: With two 'films' in this package feature we have two main heroes. First up is Bongo. Bongo is a circus ours who runs away to the forest and meets the l’amour of his life. Bongo never speaks in his film. He is dressed in a jacket, bow tie and hat and runs the full gamut of emotions. In the seconde film, we have three 'heroes' - Mickey, Donald and Goofy who all...
Why are so many of your mothers either dead ou of the evil step-mother variety, Disney? I had to dig a little to come up with this list, but behold! 5 great motherly figures from Classic Disney movies!
#5 - Wendy Darling (Peter Pan) Voiced par Kathryn Beaumont, 1953 A mother is someone who cares for you. Wendy certainly does that for her brothers, and for a while, the Lost Boys too. She has a vivid imagination, and encourages her brothers to be creative and to have fun. At home, she tells stories of Peter Pan and Neverland....
A Disney Tale: A poor woodcutter, Geppetto, wishes on a étoile, star that his wooden puppet boy could be alive. A blue fairy grants his wish and the puppet, Pinocchio, is donné life. On a series of adventures, he learns about right and wrong on his journey to becoming a real, human boy.
Disney Heroine: There is no real 'heroine' in this story and in fact, the only female characters are the Blue Fairy and Cleo the fish.
Disney Hero: Pinocchio is the 'hero' of the story, in as much as he is the main character. His heroic actions, though, don't really occur until the final act...
A Disney Tale: A young princess narrowly avoids death on the command of her evil stepmother. She shacks up with a group of mining dwarves but the stepmother finds her and puts her to sleep with a poisoned apple. The dwarves put her inside a glass coffin until a prince comes and kisses her, releasing her from the spell to live happily ever after.
Disney Heroine: Snow White is the first Disney princess, but having viewed this around the same time as Cendrillon and Sleeping Beauty (my daughter is going through a Disney Princess phase) I would argue that those princesses are what we...
I thought the TV montrer Once A Upon A Time would be a good montrer to get into since ABC is owned par Disney, I thought it would give me something in common with other people my age. We can't get Netflix however, so I had to buy them from Target costing me over $50 for just the first two seasons. I am almost six seasons behind. To my surprise I liked the Belle and Rumple episode, though Belles eye color is wrong. They call Captain Hook Captain Swan, he is abusive towards Emma Swan. The adults in the group knew the teens in the group got into an argument with the few adults in the group, including...
