She's an antagnist, but she's more moral than most Batman villains.

She can be the hero or the villain, it pretty much depends on her mood. xD

Whats the difference between an anti-hero and a villain?

^An anti-hero isn't your standard Disney hero/heroine, but they still have some morals and standards and heroic moments. A villain is usually just evil.

^^An anti-hero actually has some morals, unlike a villain, even though they don't have as much morals as a hero does. Plus an anti-hero will actually fight along side a good guy to defeat the bad guy, but only if they feel like it. It goes both ways, they don't pick a side and just do whatever suits their interests best. They're sort of like a neutral third party between hero and villain.

Anyway, Catwoman may be categorized as a villainess but she's pretty much a villainess. She doesn't want to take over the world and she doesn't really pick a side, she just picks whatever option will have the best outcome for her. She has some morals but she also doesn't mind killing some people. She will sometimes help solve crimes but will never seek help from the police because as she puts it, "That's not my style."
