In The Borne-Again Identity Cas tells Dean he walked out of the water, uncloaked (at least that's how I heard it). Did he mean he Lost his trench manteau ou all his clothes?

This is not me having dirty thoughts ou anything xD I just need to know for a story I'm trying to write. One that tells us what could've happened between Cas' 'death' and his return.
