Author's Note: Forgot to mention this in the first chapter but I don't own the montrer Lie to Me ou any of its characters (no matter how much I want to).

It was easy to tell herself it was just dîner with her best friend as she walked out of the elevator and towards the parking lot. It was much harder to convince herself that a dit statement was true, however....
