I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Emily Deschanel on ‘Bones’ Ending and The Series Finale | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
David Boreanaz, who just signed on to headline CBS’ Navy SEAL-themed drama pilot, leading lady Emily Deschanel will
be diving back into the job market so soon after wrapping her 12-year stint on
“David texted me the news and I wrote back, ‘Amazing. Good on you,\'” the actress recalls. “I’m just so impressed that he’s willing to do that right now. But that’s not where I’m at. I’m at a place where I need time to grieve and process the show ending. I’m still recovering.”

Luckily, Deschanel agreed to briefly pause her post-
detox to answer a few questions about Tuesday’s series finale.
TVLINE | Was any part of you disappointed that Brennan regained her full mental faculties? It could’ve been interesting had the show ended with her being forced to chart a new path for herself.
I hear you. Ultimately, she came to a place where she was OK with who she is with or without her intellect. But, yes, sometimes I don’t want the endings to be too happy. I was glad that Hodgins didn’t get some miracle [cure] where he walks again. I’m a huge fan of
but when they had [Matthew] walk again I was like, “Come on.” [
TVLINE |What do you think Brennan would do with her life without her intellect?
She would probably conduct some kind of market analysis to find out what job she would be best suited for with her [compromised] brain function.
TVLINE | I think you just came up with a spinoff —
It affected us more than you would think. It was emotional. It was a gut punch and a sobering reality check because it acknowledged that this thing was ending. It was also disturbing. The art department did such an amazing job of destroying the lab,bBut it was a very unwelcoming space to work. We’re so used to putting our stuff down. Well,
was. I’d have my bags and my chairs and my water bottles… I’d have all my stuff, but you couldn’t put anything down on the ground. [
]  I had my kids visiting. My husband came to visit. And the air quality in there was
good, because there was black soot everywhere.
TVLINE | What was the most emotional scene from the finale shoot?
The scene where I had to talk to all the interns. Not only was I going around to each one and reminiscing with them [as Brennan], but it was my last scene with all of these actors who I’ve worked with over the [12] years. I did not want to be super emotional for that scene, but it was so hard not to just bawl.
TVLINE | Has it hit you yet that this 12-year experience is over?
It comes in waves. It hit me for sure when I finished [shooting the finale]. What I miss now is the people I worked with, the actors and the crew. I’m mourning that I don’t get to see those people every day. It will never be the same. I’m in the process of mourning the show itself. I think that will take longer to mourn, to kind of know what the show was for me and how it fits into television history.

Suspending all belief that anyone survived the explosion, how did they manage to 1) let anyone back into a dangerous building and 2) clear up the debris so quickly that everyone was back at work? I know, why does it matter at this point. Sorry to see the show end :(
Wish I worked the kind of job where I could grieve and process things for long periods of time. lol AKA take a vacation
Great show and great ending. Thank you for 12 wonderful years!
How will it fit into history? As a show with the best ensemble cast ever!
Thought the Finale was really boring, but congrats to BONES for a 12 year run. Impressive.
I loved ‘Bones’. I hate to see it end. But I guess all good things come to an end.
It ended so stupid. They all spoke of coming back. Usually when a show ends, it ends. Bones should’ve decided not to return to work, that would’ve been the end!!!
I completely agree, the whole time watching it , all I could think is. Did they come to an agreement for another season and find a way to keep it completely silent. It appeared as just a regular season finale. It gave reason to why the show would be off until the following season like they did at just as about every season finale of the show. I love the show, but I went into the episode very emotional knowing that this was the end and by the 10 minute mark i was over it , my mind was mistaking it for a season finale Not a series finale
I like the fact the everyone was going back to thir jobs, that their life went on as usual…. I am a fan of happy endings..so.
That’s because you’re so used to bad endings, not happy endings, for shows that have final, bad endings. Don’t worry, be happy.
No. The whole point was the broken clock at the end. It marked an end — that they would move-on. It worked for me. And it didn’t poison reruns for me.
i loved having this show come into my home and be a part of my life. It is an amazing show and cast, there will never be a match or anything that can replace it. I am sad to see it end.
i liked the ending and how it seemed like “just another day/case” for them vs. an over emotional good-bye episode … ending on a light note basically. will miss the show for sure and would watch a return show as well!
I enjoyed the finale for the fact it didn’t go crazy and kill off people, do bizarre twists…..it had a happy ending for everyone, life goes on….B&B will still be solving cases in the future, just we won’t see it
Props to Bones for being the sweet hopeful show it always was
Itotally appreciate the great ending of Bones was given tonight. Especially to both of all of the people involved with the making of this great tweleve year show, from the people behind the scenes all the way to the actors of this great program. As a fan I say thank you to you guys for ending this great show in a loving way for us fans. Especially loved the way you guys were able to give closure to many of the fans from the beginning of this show. Still able to send off this program in a respectful way. So once again from a fan who got on board with this incredible show in the third season, I know a little late. Still loyal to this show through the next nine years of this show’s run. This have been appointment viewing for me no matter what slot the powers to be in the FOX broadcasting team I made sure to find it. So once again thanks guys on the Bones team for such a great run.
I’m glad the series ended on a high note. That it will be business as usual. Once the lab is rebuilt. That’s how I wanted it to end and so happy it did end that way.
