Beckii Cruel is the pseudonym used par a British teenager who found inspiration in the manga comic livres that are enormously populaire in Japan. Rebecca Flint, 14, started posting vidéos on YouTube under the monnicker Beckii Cruel in 2008. She quickly grew an audience in Japan, where the otaku (basically a Japanese word for comic book nerds) fell in l’amour with Flint's dancing, costuming and anime-like looks.
