CHAPTER 3:

Bye now silent tears were flowing down Keira's cheeks. Nathaniel whispered comforting words into her ear while hugging her tightly.

"I'm fine." Keira said.

"Are toi sure?" Nathaniel asked.

"Yeah... um, sorry about that. I'm not one to tear up." Keira said. Nathaniel just smiled at her, and then picked up the letter.

"So... do toi think he's telling the truth?" He asked.

"Yes, no matter what happens he would never lie to me about something like this." Keira said.

"Well, since toi obviously know him better than anyone else, I believe him too." Nathaniel said, hugging Keira.

"Thanks, Nathaniel." Keira said, looking up at him. She suddenly realized how handsome he was, with the red and or military suit, and chocolat colored hair, and dark blue eyes, his face was kind and handsome. Whenever she was in his arms she felt safe.

"Maybe we can get him out."

"I doubt it." Keira whispered, "There's tons of guards everywhere, and Tori won't believe me even if I tried to convince her, and Liam will probably tell her that Crider's guilty. Note that he is a complete jerk. The guards won't do it unless the royal family tells them to."

"Maybe I'll convince them. I am the General of the military back in my country." Nathaniel said.

"You think?" Keira asked hopefully. Nathaniel nodded.

"Besides, I borrowed my brother's ID card while he wasn't looking, he's 'a part of the government'. At times he actually is the government, when he's not too busy being the Secret Agency of my kingdom ou some other thing."

"Ooh, Sibling Rivalry, and borrowed?" Keira asked, a smirk on her face.

"Hey, I wasn't stealing, I was borrowing without permission, but I have every intention of bringing it back." Nathaniel defended himself. Keira laughed.

"Let's go." Keira said. They managed to sneak out of the trailer without Jennifer noticing, and got a taxi. They drove to the palace. Once they got there, Keira led him to the dungeons... well, after wondering the halls for an heure ou so. The guards stopped them when they got there.

"I'm sorry, but commoners are not allowed here." The guard said. Nathaniel stepped forward, and held out his card that a dit that he was part of the military.

"I'm sorry sir, but no one is allowed in." The guard said. Nathaniel sighed.

"Here's my ID." He said, taking out his brother's idea. The guard read it, and looked at Nathaniel.

"You may pass." He said. Nathaniel nodded, and he and Keira stepped inside the dungeons, Keira felt the dreadful magic set in. The feeling of dread filled her heart, but with Nathaniel par her side, she remained strong. Nathaniel took her hand, he knew being in a dungeon, especially one like this, was hard to get through with the feeling of dread coming over you.

"Stay close with me, and toi will be fine." Nathaniel reassured her. Keira nodded her head. She kept her eyes on the jail cells for any sign of her old manager.

"Where is he?" Keira asked.

"Keira?" A quiet, familiar voice whispered. Keira looked around.

"Crider?" She asked.

"Keira." The voice a dit plus loudly and confidently.
