Angel's Voice In Dancing On the Edge 

Oh and before anyone starts, do remember this was a bit part for her and she is in no way a lead character, easy money as one would describe it. Shortest paying gig in the world. Less than 6 weeks on set, if that total lol. Nice one.

Her voice is lovely, in tune (most importantly), and COMPLETELY ON POINT for the era. Go listen to some Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith, Eartha Kitt or Lena Horne if you don't believe me.

Her voice is amazing and I can't wait to watch this but when is it coming out???

my thought when i watching: can you guy shut up for a while let me hear Angel sing? lol. anyway she got a lovely voice. hope it will be a soundtrack coming out so i can find a way to buy or download it . Angel voice is so amazing and i start to like jazz..usually im into pop and rock music and jazz makes me wants to fall to sleeps all the times. but because of Angel i have a change of mind!

EPaws, Although it might have been a "small part," for Angel acting-wise, surely it took a WHOLE LOT of work, commitment, lead-up, possibly coaching, and practice and effort to record the songs and the album though, right?

There's something profound in the synchronicity of how Dancing on the Edge came immediately after Merlin for Angel. She filmed it during time off between Seasons 4 and 5 and it came out shortly after Season 5 wrapped. I mean... her character Jessie was essentially a martyr in the most dramatic sense, of the Race War. And she embodied that character so beautifully. Jessie was brutally stabbed and murdered by a white man because she dared to be a beautiful, talented black woman who rose to rapid stardom and was adored, sought after and coveted by white royalty....... Notice the parallel between how a significant faction of the Merlin fandom tried their best to undermine Angel the actress and Gwen the character primarily because they felt their white-centric ideas about a legend threatened by her race...
