Kid-friendly animé comedies?

Kay, so my coworker Isabelle is an animé fan & she wants to encourage her daughter to read, so she wants to get her hooked on fansubs at an early age.

I am having the damnedest time trying to think of animes that are actually appropriate for children. No violence, no sexy girls, no heavy romantic focus. I can barely think of any G-rated animes as it is, except Goldfish Warnng.

Isabelle's intention is to have Amber sit on her lap while she hits pause & has her daughter read the subtitles out loud, then let her watch the episode all the way through as a reward.
