Either Naruto ou Bleach, both have a huge fan base an they are known worldwide even people (that watch anime) who haven't seen them recognize the characters. translated in several different languages, with new fans everyday. But i myself would say Bleach, even though the manga is ongoing the animé has been on hiatus (an will be for about a year) yet it still continues to gain new fans :)
