Are there any disabled characters in anime? ou characters with a limiting illness?

One That Comes to mind right now is Nunnally Lamperouge From Code Geass,she is blind and she's Paralyzed..but it goes all the way her when her mother "passed",she was paralyzed Due To Bullet Wounds and Blind due to psychological trauma,It's extremely sad to me T.T

Hm... I have a feeling someone's gonna say Ed with his missing arm and leg and Alphonse with his missing body, so I'll do something unique! Non-chan from Ojamajo DoReMi showed up in one episode of the last season and died of cancer... T~T I cried! Especially because Doremi helped Non-chan's mother cheer up... Non-chan's mom had promised to have a snowball fight with her the moment her cancer was cured, and Doremi offered to have a snowball fight with her in Non-chan's place, and the two of them had a snowball fight while laughing and crying... *sniffle*

Don't know if Mariko counts for handicap but she can't walk on her own because so many vectors weigh her down and not to mention she has a fake arm from when the scientist blew it off with one of the many bombs implanted throughout her body from when she was a baby.

Sylvette can't déplacer her lags since she was born. But,she can use the wheelchair really good.

Uhm, this wasn't like a lifelong thing and it was temporary (but wouldn't have been if she had not been healed par the Death Stone). Yomi was stabbed in 108 places par needles tearing ligaments(?) and making her 98% disabled aside from her head/neck and her hands. She moved her arm a little once but it wasn't something terribly significant.

Well Seiichi-kun from Prince of tennis was diagnosed and treated for Guillain-Barre syndrome.

*Guillain-Barre syndrome is a serious disorder that occurs when the body's defense (immune) system mistakenly attacks part of the nervous system. This leads to nerve inflammation that causes muscle weakness.

Aoi Hyuga from Gakuen Alice. She was blind and had Lost memory of her family due to an axident that made her loose control of her feu alice. She also got a very high fever that had an abnormal temperature. It was caused par that A**hole Persona.

I really don't know if toi can call Nurarihyon from Nurarihyon no Mago disabled if he had his cœur, coeur ripped out. . .
I think that's limiting since, well, he had his cœur, coeur ripped out, it greatly decreased his lifetime. (By the way he already looks old even though he's still like, around 500 years old- which is young for someone like him.)
Oh, and before toi ask how he is still living after having his cœur, coeur ripped out, it's because he's a yokai, a Japanese Supernatural creature. (Which probably also explains his, err, head shape.)

Rentaro Satomi from Black Bullet Lost his right limbs and left eye when he protected Kisara from Gastrea in their childhood.

Shishio from Rurouni Kenshin is covered in burns, so he doesn't have sweat glands and will overheat and die if he does something strenuous for too long.

Itachi Uchiha (Naruto Shippuden)

Itachi's illness is hemoptysis. The hemoptysis is, plus likely than not, a result of diffuse alveolar hemorrhage. This is a classic symptom of MPA when it presents with pulmonary manifestations. There is also shortness of breath, and coughing.
