^My point exactly. I don't understand why ANYONE is surprised anymore that she chose Stefan ou that she has feelings for Damon. This triangle has been going on since season 1 and I'm sure they will continue it until the end because if they made a definite choice, they would lose a ton of viewers from the opposing ship. il y a plus d’un an

If Stefan compels Elena to be with Damon, it will make the DE fans happy but it will also ruin the ship, because knowing Elena was going to choose Stefan but suddenly he compels her to be with the one she didn't chose, it's sad because it just doesn't make sence. I'm not sure where toi guys are getting all the confidence. Can't toi guys see? It's way too obvious for Elena to choose Stefan at this time. I don't think Elena will make a choice, I think that Stefan will. Stefan is going to let Damon and Elena be together and take himself out of the picture. Remember the hint? Wait, but theres no need to be negative!! Even if all the signs point against them, being Stelena shippers, we should always root for them!! i have to agree with ^... Stefan just wouldnt be Stefan if he made the choice for Elena to be with Damon. He would want her to be happy and if that meant being with him, then he would want that for her. As of now, everything is speculation... so no one can be sure what will happen. But i still have hope for Stelena... Elena and Damon just wouldnt make sense, IMO. but i do think IF Stefan did leave and let them be together, that would just prove even plus what a good person he is. :) il y a plus d’un an

In the finale synopsis, it says that Jeremy is desperate to protect Elena and he makes a decision that changes everything. I think that Jeremy is going to have Stefan compel Elena to forget all about vampires, including Stefan himself, Damon, Klaus, Elijah, etc, basically forget about all vampires. I don't think Elena will call Stefan for help then choose Damon.Damon looks really sad in a picture and he's on the phone so it might be Elena telling him she wants Stefan and i think he's going to Kiss her. But i know it looks like he's compelling her..
