Chapter 8-

"Where's the Joker?" Alexa asked, busting down the door to the Injustice League's base.

Poison Ivy, Vertigo, and Atomic Skull looked up from their poker game.

"Yoohoo! Over here darling! I was wondering where toi had-unh!"

Joker was cut off as Alexa teleported across the room and grabbed him par the chemise collar.

"You piece of slime!" she yelled, throwing him across the room and into the wall. The three villans playing poker stood up as Alexa walked over to the Clown Pronce of Crime.

"You used me!" she yelled, shoving him in the wall, making a dent. "You lied to me!" she yelled again, shoving him into the mur once more, making a larger crack appear. "You used me as bait to lure the Batman away while toi robbed the Treaury!" she shoved him clear through the mur and hung him out over the pit of crocodile infested waters.

"You gonna do it?" he asked. "I want toi to do it! Drop me!"

Alexa growled and narrowed her eyes.

"Drop me!"

Alexa tightened her grip.

"Do it!" the Joker whispered.

Alexa dropped him.

Joker laughed as he fell through the air towards the water below. Vertigo leaped at Alexa, but she shoved him off with a wave of her hand and looked at the Joker below.

Joker fell towards the water below, laughing. He suddenly stopped right above the water.

"What?" he asked, opening his eyes.

He was hovering a foot above the water. He slowly began to ascend until he was in Alexa's grasp again.

"That was a warning." Alexa said. "Treat me like that again, and I won't stop toi from falling."

Joker frowned. "Spoil Sport." he said.

Alexa dropped him to the ground and teleported across the room. "I've got somewhere to go. Might wanna leave before the Justice League arrives."

With that, Alexa was gone again.

A week after the dreaded mission to save Joseph Billing and the Immobilizer, Robin sat on the canapé updating the security codes for his gant computer. He felt a lot better with himself after the several missions with the team afterwards, ou at least he felt plus useful with the team.
