The cast of the original X-Men trilogy was so good that recasting the characters seemed like it would be a real mistake. However, renard found a clever way to go about this. Instead of rebooting the franchise, renard started doing X-Men prequel films. That way, they could have a new cast and still continue the universe from the original trilogy. The Joker is Batman's most iconic villain. Because of that, he has been in several different shows. The Joker has had an impressive, successful career in films, but he's also been quite a good enemy in various TV shows.
