A manga is a book normally read back to front to keep the original Japanese comic format and it is basically a Japanese back to front comic strip that tells the story via thought bubbles, speech bubbles and of couse the pictures. animé is normally based on a manga and is basically the pictures animated so they déplacer and the thoughts are,like the actual speech, shown par the voice actors speaking.
