I had fallen to the ground, scraping my hands in the dirt gouging little trenches. I flipped around and sat up, wiping the dirt off my hands and onto my jeans. It was then, while I was looking at the dirt smeared on my jeans that I remembered why I had fallen. I looked up slowly and saw that whatever I had fallen over was still lying on the ground. I forgot about my now dirty jeans and crawled over to the mass on the floor. I saw that it was human. There was a human lying on the forest floor.
"You ok?" I asked the person. "Are toi hurt?"
The person refused to answer me but curled up into a tight ball.
"I can't help toi if toi don't speak to me," I said. I gently touched the person's arm, noticing that they were male from the muscles I could feel. He flinched under my touch. I drew my hand back slowly, confused par his reaction. This man was clearly not going to talk to me, I didn't know if he was hurt at all and he flinched away from me so I needed to. I reached out to his mind and searched through his thoughts. I gasped when I knew who it was. My cœur, coeur almost ripped in two when I felt all his pain and suffering. No wonder he was flinching away from me. I had basically caused it.
"Mitchell." I spoke softly to him. "I am so sorry."
He didn't respond. The only way I knew he was awake was when he occasionally blinked. He didn't look at me but past me and into nothingness. He wasn't even thinking properly, just incoherent thoughts dominated par his grief.
"I don't blame toi for feeling like this," I said. "You've Lost your father. toi did l’amour him, even though he wasn't the nicest of guys."
No matter how much he had wanted to help get rid of Loren he was unaware and unprepared for this reaction.
There was still no answer.
“Mitchell, just speak to me!" I Lost my patience with him.
His reply was to turn away from me. I heard him begin to quietly sob and I felt my own eyes begin to prick with tears. This was Alice’s vision. Mitchell lying on the forest floor crying. I knew why Alice didn’t want to tell me. I would blame myself. And I did. If Loren hadn’t been so intent on killing me, Charlie wouldn’t have killed him and then Mitchell wouldn’t be like this.
“Please Mitchell,” I begged with him. “Please talk to me. I’m sorry, I’m so so sorry. I’m not going to shout at toi for crying over it. I’m not going to rub it in your face. I just don’t want to lose toi as a friend. Mitchell?”
I hoped he had become my friend in the short time we’d known each other. He had protected me, ou tried to. He hadn’t hated me to begin with ou else he had and then didn’t. He was the only other person apart from Charlie who was like me. And I would like a friend like that. Edward and the rest of the Cullens were vampires and that’s great, bloody brilliant honestly, but Mitchell was some sort of other race similar to mine and it would be amazing to have someone to complain to about being an Azdi and how annoying it was. And then he would complain to me about being a Jenzi and how annoying it was. We could also learn stuff from each other.
“No,” he said, his voice stuffy. “No, Michaela.”
Then he vanished. See, that was something I could have learned from him. Shimmering. But I guess I couldn’t now. It seemed Mitchell didn’t want to speak to me and I couldn’t go after him. I didn’t know where he was going. I didn’t even know if I would see him again.
“Kayla?”
I started when I heard his voice. I turned around and saw him standing there, unscathed and smiling warmly down at me. He held his arms open and I jumped into them, hugging him tightly.
“Do toi know how worried I’ve been?” I hissed in his ear. “How scared I was? toi are in so much trouble, Charlie Swan, immense trouble!”
He only laughed at me and kissed my cheek.
“You don’t know how good it is to hear toi talking again,” Charlie murmured. “When I last saw you, Kayla, toi were out cold, recovering from gunshot wounds. Are toi okay now?”
“I’m better now,” I said, to assure him. “So much so, that I’m gonna kick your ass! How dare toi leave me to go and kill Loren. On your own!”
Charlie let me go and I stared up at him, angrily.
“I wasn’t on my own,” he said. “I was with Mitchell. Mitchell was with me the til the end.”
“Lie.” I said. “Mitchell was nearly killed par Jenzi soldiers and left for dead. Forks Police found him and sent him to the hospital. But toi didn’t come accueil after it. toi continued in your quest to kill Loren. toi were on your own, Dad.”
“I wasn’t on my own, darling,” Charlie lied. “I had Zachariah there. Remember him?”
“You’re lying,” I said. “Zach was gone before toi got there and Loren was planning to have him killed for betraying him and helping us.”
“It’s not like it was difficult.” Charlie laughed nervously. “I only walked in there, pulled the trigger and was straight back out.”
“You’re lying again!” I half shouted. “You didn’t walk in there and pull the trigger. toi didn’t even have a gun! toi used your own abilities and a dagger.”
“How do toi know all this?” he asked, frustrated. “I get how toi would know about Mitchell but about Zach and how I killed Loren?”
Oops. I shouldn’t have gotten so caught up about Charlie lying to me. He was only trying to assure me, keep me calm, protect me from knowing the awful truth and worrying.
“Michaela, how did toi know?” he asked. He looked deep into my eyes, his brown eyes holding me still and unmoving. He searched in my mind for the answer but I could do nothing to stop him.
“You dreamt it? toi dreamt the whole thing?”
I blinked a few times after Charlie had released me from his stare.
“And Alice had a vision exactly the same as your dream?”
Charlie nervously ran a hand through his hair and looked down at me, his eyes anxious.
“Do toi know what this means?”
I shook my head.
“Not a clue.”
He became serious and stared down at me again but not like before. This time he wasn’t probing through my mind.
“You’re having premonitions, Kayla,” he said.
I raised my eyebrows, incredulous.
“Are toi kidding me?” I said.
He shook his head.
“Like Alice then?” I asked. “I’m having visions of the future like Alice?”
“We call them premonitions, but yes,” he said. “You’re having visions like Alice.”
W-o-w. I was having visions of the futures. I was having premonitions. Oh My God. This was amazing! Eeep! I was so much plus powerful now. Ooohh all the things I could do with these premonitions! I would totally know when anything wanted to kill me then I could prepare for it and no one would know! Hehehehe.
“Calm down, Kayla,” Charlie laughed. “We don’t know how these will turn out. toi might be able to have them whenever toi want, toi might have no choice about when they come and toi might only be able to dream them.”
Well that spoiled my fun.
“This is serious,” Charlie said. “Your grandma had premonitions. She could have hers whenever she wanted. She just closed her eyes, cleared her mind and she had a vision. But people exploited her. They kept ringing her up and stopping her in the rue asking her to predict their futures for them. She eventually just gave up being an Azdi. It drove her insane. Literally. She spent plus time in her own head and seeing people’s futures than in the real world.”
This really spoiled my fun.
“Are toi saying I’m going to go insane because of it?” This scared me. “I’m going to end up doo-lally? I’m going to be mad and crazy and in a strait veste locked in a room with padded walls and floors with men in white coats giving me little tablets in little tubs with little white plastic cups everyday and-”
“Kayla!”
I looked up at Charlie innocently, my eyes wide.
“What?”
“You’re babbling,” he said, annoyed but smiled slightly. “That’s not going to happen. I’m just warning you. Be careful.”
“Do toi know how this will turn out?”
“No, baby,” he said, sadly. “I don’t know how this will turn out. It could take almost a an before your premonitions finally settle. In between that time toi could be having visions in your sleep ou when your awake doing nothing ou something could trigger a premonition. Anything can happen.”
In a an I would be eighteen. In a an I would be getting married. In a an I might be immortal. And in a an I could begin my journey to being one of the insane.
Okay Guys, decision time. This is the end of Kayla's Secret. So, I'm leaving it up to toi about what happens next. I could write a sequel (which I have been working on for the past four days) ou I could just leave it there and try to begin a new and entirely different one. Up to you. Thanks for lire my story and thank toi for all your lovely comments. It's been great écriture for toi guys.

Yeah i get it its short Chibimoongirl leave the suspends
Renesmee's POV
I was walking to my parents meadow but i was wasnt paying attention to the beauty i was écriture a poem:
A winter night,
Cold and harsh
He only holds me in his too hot hands
Our l’amour is like a blooming rose
Only ten times faster
And plus sweeter
He disolves in darkness,
My handsome knight is gone
But he doesnt come back
LIke i thought he would
Back to the meadow
Here I am
fleurs growing so vibrantly
But my meadow is gone
And so is he.
I was so deep inside this poem like it was worth everything to me. But at the same time i was listening to my ipod the song was My Immortal par Evanescence and it just reminded me of him. I heard noises even with the musique on full blast but i didnt care i just sat there waiting for sleepiness take over me. But the pain of staining in my cœur, coeur was just to much and i saw bare feet in front of me.
