Why do phans have the primeval urge to have sex with Erik/ The Phantom?

I am NOT asking for réponses like:

handsome
smart
charming
seductive
to reproduce the human race

I think it's because Erik (The Phantom) can montrer his love/passion with music, how he's keep stuggling with his painful and dark past plus his disfigurement. That's what I will discribe about the phans (I'm one of them). Is this commentaire a good one?
