Why is Scar such an asshole in The Lion King

Because he's jealous and knows he'll never become king once Mufasa steps down and Simba becomes king. So, Scar had a plan to get rid of both of them, par killing Mufasa and make Simba run away.

Because every good movie has an asshole in it.

Because he's the villain.

Because he is f**ked up! He is a murderer!

In a fight, yeah, but Scar was smarter. Anyway, from what I've read/heard, he was treated really badly in his childhood par his father and Mufasa. But there had to be a villain for a movie and Scar is just the one.

He wanted plus power. The dumb-ass hyaenas made him king of the outlands. He's jealous.Taka, he was a little innocent cub then I murdered the king for power.it was the hyaenas fault.

because mufasa had all the good stuff scar didnt and scar had all the bad stuff mufasa didnt and their father paid plus attention to mufasa than scar and scar doesnt get a chance to be king
