The Kane Chronicles Question

Do toi think that some of the characters from the Kane Chronicles will rejoindre Heroes of Olympus?

Warning! Spoilers!
toi may not want to red further if toi haven't read The Serpents Shadow.

In the serpents shadow, Drew from Heroes of Olympus makes a quick appearance.

Later Sadie and her mother have a short conversation in which Ruby(the mom) mentions that something is going to happen in the future, "I see murky visions of other gods and rival magic."

I used these clues to foreshadow that maybe this is a tie in to the Heroes of Olympus.

What is your opinion? Would this be a good ou a bad idea?

There has to be, now that Rick has hinted it. I don't think it will be in The Heroes of Olympus, though (although I wouldn't be surprised if he put in reference to the Kanes here and there). I'm thinking for something like that, he's going to have to write another series. Maybe he'll even wait to finish his Norse series first. Who knows? We're talking about Riordan here. ;)

I dunno. Riordan has made allusions to his other works before. Like in "The Red Pyramid" when Carter asks why he asks their uncle why are the on the West side of the river, and he réponses (to something like): "That side has different gods." ou something like that. And Carter also calls the Set Animal "Leroy" and that's what Percy calls Typhon in "The Last Hero". He does that quite a bit, so I don't know. I hope so. It'd be cool to see how the characters react to one another.

judging from all the clues that Riordan has hinted in the kane chronicles series(i counted seven in all) i'd have to say yes. there are still two plus livres to go in the Heroes of olympus, and the fifth hasn't even been named yet. so who knows...

I honestly think so because the whole world is threatened Egyptian and all so i think that they will have to help to save the world to. because if he is trying to get the romans to work together then why wouldn't he get the Egyptians to come together also right.

Guys, it definitely is happening. RR has not only hinted, but also stated that there will be a crossover. On his site, he has a dit it. Also, the first two, ou three pages are already there as a teaser (no, they are not fan made , Rr has himself written them). Carter and Percy meet, and talk, and fight and stuff. It's nice.

I think it would be so amazing. But I read somewhere that the only reason he wrote the crossover short story was because his fans kept pestering him and he needed something special for the release of the paperback version of the Serpent's Shadow. I may be wrong, of course.

I think that the characters form the "Kane Chronicles" will rejoindre the characters from the "Heroes of Olympus". I believe this because Rick Riordan has already created a crossover story and that was just about 16 pages long. This crossover is available in (paperback) "Mark of Athena". The crossover is called the "Secptor of Seraphis" it features Sadie Kane and Annabeth Chase. I have read the entire Heroes of Olympus series and they did not meet in that series. Rick Riiordan is currently écriture a new series called "Magnus Chase and the God's of Asguard" it is very possible that in this book (to be published fall of 2015) will in fact be a crossover series. The first book is to be called "The Sord of Summer". If a crossover series is created this will have those fans of just "Percy Jackson and the Olympians", "The Heroes of Olympus", ou "The Kane Chronicles" become plus interested in all of Rick Riordan's books. Thanks-PiperChase
