hey... guys... i'm LIKE FREAKING OUT!!!! is it an issue that ive seen the hobbit but none of the lord of the rings movies? ou read any of the books?

No, the fact that toi have never read the livres ou seen the lord of the rings films is not an issue. The livres give toi plus info but toi don't have to read them to see the movies. I saw the first two Harry Potter films before I read the books. I hope this helps you.

No. Actually I literally knew nothing about The Hobbit ou Lord of the Rings until I saw The Hobbit and then I watched Lord of the Rings and read the books.
It's a good idea to start lire the livres and watching the LotR films though since they are amazing and you'll understand more.

Well, I do find that abit strange that toi haven't seen any of the other movies, but the thing about the livres is quite normal for many people. Well, except for me. I do believe that to become a devoted fan toi must do all those things, but toi shouldn't worry about it because you're just starting out. :)

I have not seen any of the films (if it´s not counted when I watched part of LotR when I was very young and I can´t remember much about it) but I have read The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers. I will read The Return of the King next. I also read part of Silmarillion...

No, it is not an issue, but I do think toi are missing out! I would advise toi to read the Hobbit first, and then read/watch the Lord of the Rings. I absolutely loved the livres - they are a literacy marvel in my mind - and I really truly recommend your lire of them.

No, it's not an issue. I haven't read any of the livres either. it doesnt really matter. at least toi had an unbiased opinion on the movies. :)
