Why Do People Hate Piper?

I l’amour Piper! Why do people hate her? She is awesome! But seriously I don't know.

I never actually answered this.
She's not useful. Charmspeak is. It's like having a wrench that turns into pudding every sixty seconds. The inconsistency annoys me plus then anything. The problem is not her having issues. The problem is that she goes through this mental set of hurdles every-time she is confronted with a problem. I prefer my characters when they don't of the mental stability of a pogo stick on a trampoline.

im not sure.. but i think it is because she is a daughter of aphrodite. it think people think the goddess of l’amour isn't very cool ou warror-like like the other gods. i kinda like her, but, well... i dont know... aprodite is kinda anoying, with all her talk of l’amour and how war and l’amour always come together. hhmmm....

Well Piper is going to be the most important demi-god in the seven when the actual war starts. She's the only one who can put Gaea to sleep. So if she's dead the war is basically over and we lost.

idk but i think every one of the seven would be very important and completely relevant to the story whether people like them ou not

And idk why people hate her... She's just so different from other Aphrodite children, a lot plus violent and simplistic

I think people hate piper cause she's dating Jason, and people (for some reason) don't like Jason either. So I guess that was their 'logical' reason for hating piper. I truthfully don't like piper as much as the other characters, but I do like her. And I also think that people don't like her cause we don't connect with her like the others. I'd explain why, but it would take forever. And toi guys understand it already.

I've heard it's because she is "replacing" Annabeth. But in my opinion, it's because people see her as "too emotional" ou not "strong enough" to be a key character. I happen to l’amour Piper so when people hate her, it makes me sad

i honestly don't know why people hate her, i l’amour her she is awesome! i try to defend her when people call her Mary-sue, ou other things.
every character has there character flaws, and its ok for them to, toi cant have a perfect character, cause that would make the story boring, i defend piper mclean!

I like Piper, I really do, but Annabeth does what Piper does, yet without magic.
Now I'm not hating ou anything, but Piper is not necessary MY personal favorite.
I am not saying she is useless, cuz she isn't and I'm not saying she's emotionally unstable (honestly I didn't recognized anything like that until I saw others calling her emotionaly unstable) but I don't think she is.
Maybe she is complaning a lot, but I don't really see it. She did have pretty much the best life out of the 7, growing up rich and with everything she could have wanted, but she also did desperately grab for attention. Maybe this is just an effect of being an Aphrodite child, but, alas, her she is now.
She reminds me of Selena and I like that, (And I adored Selena)
Piper is Rebelle and passionate about what she loves. And why in the world would she be part of the 7 if she was useless? (and don't nobody say that Rick needed someone to sacrafice)
Bottom line is, Piper is an interesting character who has obviously stirred up some conversation and some people may l’amour her and some may hate her. The end.

I think the reason people don't like her is because they think she is really girly and not that smart...she claims to be different from the rest of Aphrodite but I think that people still think she is too Aphrodite and people think she is a Mary-Sue.

I personally really like Piper she is one of my favori characters...
