we all know how much Sheldon hates germs. How is it that he can use the washer and dryer in the building? Has this been address?

I'm confused as to what toi are asking. I always thought that using a washer and dryer makes your clothes clean and dry which is the point. And I don't know if it's been addressed, I just don't see the point in this question.
