i think by adding them they could add more to sam's and dean's character, also male watchers can have a girl they like, however, i think it should still be mainly about sam and dean, and not go to far in depth with the girls. but they should also have reoccurring roles

are there any trailers or anything so we can see what they are like? i dun think i cud deal w 2 female regulars. its sam and dean,the show is bout them personally addin strangers will ruin that personal thing it has about it. i am against the idea. plus, i dun think i cud cope if i saw any of those with girls, if its not me, its shudnt be anyone!!! lol

At first I thought it might be too weird having four regulars when there's usually two, but then I remembered that I didn't think that the second series could match up to the first. Trust in the Kripkeeper!

One of my favourite parts of this show is the brother relationship.
I think that lead characters will change this too much. However recurring characters may provide some added drama and conflict into the Sam/Dean relationship, and if it's cleverly done, I'm all for it.

i love both ruby and bella in the show and they are not in every episode so thats good too

id prefer people who come in from time to time cause if they put different people in it it wont be like 'family' and its just much better with just dean and sam with people like bobby and ellen who come in from time to time to help out. x

Okay I have to admit that when I first heard this rumor I was upset but now that I've meet Ruby and Bella I LOVE THEM! They add such a dimension to the show.

Since Ruby is a regular now I'm up for another female on the show it would be great if they would do a crossover with Buffyverse.

I was close to saying I was totally against it, but I really liked Bela and Ruby last season, and I think Ruby is a vital character this season as well. Recurring characters, fine! Regular characters, no! Now who I'd REALLY like to see more of is Bobby!! come on, writers, use him!! He's a FANTASTIC character!!!

i liked the frequency and amount of time ruby and bella were on for. any more and it takes the focus off the boys, which is never good!!

I think why the show is so great is because it's not the show again about male/female love suffer but about brothers, about how they care about each other, it's shows that men can be week too...You know it's about mens, not..I don't want to see just love, i only want to see brother love.
I liked Bella and Ruby..if the character will be in that position then yes, but if something about love no.

spn is above all a "men" show...i like woman characters when they're demons or just recurring characters in the way of bela, jo or helen but not more...i prefer to see dean/sam and an essential characters bobby and of course castiel...that's for me spn spirit...

I really should skip this question because it's old and the women have already all died, but I loved the female addition: both because of the added sexual tension to the show and because all of the girls were great characters and seriously kick-ass ones, too!
I'm really sorry they keep killing them off after just a few episodes: Charlie, Meg, Jo and Ellen, hell, even Ruby and Anna the prophet/angel/crazy girl... I miss all of them and them dying just like that, like incompetent females, while the boys keep on kicking just... sucks.
I hope Krissy and Amara keep on kicking ass for all of us whit ovaries

^I was the same - coming across the poll years after S3 but voting anyway. I voted the no option because, although I did think Bela and Ruby worked, they only worked as recurring new characters.

About the fact that the female characters keep getting killed off: male characters are at the same risk. Ash, Andy, John, even Bobby.... the only characters I feel are safe are the brothers and possibly Cas.
