Doctor Tyson did some standard examinations, while Heather looked from the doctor to Meg, waiting for him to say something.
“I think toi have been very lucky, Miss Masters” he eventually said. “A little plus to the left and toi might not have made it”
“When can she go home?” Heather asked.
“I’d like to keep her here in observation for at least the rest of the week” Doctor Tyson. Meg frowned and shook her head.
“No” she mumbled weak. “I have to call Cas” She tried to get out of bed, but Heather stopped her.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it” she a dit and she signed at Doctor Tyson, who followed her to the door.
“She’s talking about Cas Novak” Heather explained. “How is he doing?”
“Not good. He’s under Doctor Spencer’s surveillance” Doctor Tyson answered. Heather glanced at Meg who stared suspicious back at them.
“I’ll fill her in” she said.
“Alright” Doctor Tyson agreed. “I’ll get a nurse to change Miss Masters bandage” He opened the door and almost bumped into a woman. “Excuse me”
“I heard Miss Masters is awake. I need to ask her a few questions” the woman said, montrer her ID. “Don’t worry, I’ll make it quick” she added and she walked into the room.
“Isabel?” Heather exclaimed when she saw Inspector Roberts walking to the bed. “What are toi doing here?”
“Doing my job” Isabel answered cold. “Miss Masters was shot. I’m here to find out who did it”
She pulled a chair and took a notebook. “Now, Miss Masters, tell me everything toi know”
Meg closed her eyes and leaned back in the pillows.
“Can’t toi come back some other time?” Heather asked. “Can’t toi see she’s exhausted?”
“I will do this” Isabel a dit sharp. “And if toi have a problem with that I’d rather have toi waiting outside”
Meg frowned and opened her eyes again.
“Kevin” she a dit hoarse.
Isabel rotated her head back to Meg. “What did toi say?”
“It was Kevin” Meg repeated. “Kevin Tran”

“Daphne? It’s time to let me go” Martin a dit soft.
Daphne lifted her head and stared at him with wet and bloodshot eyes. “How? I can’t”
“It’s time for me to déplacer on” Martin said. “I’ve been wandering around for too long. I’m done here. If I stay much longer, I could turn into a vengeful spirit”
Daphne shook her head. “I don’t believe that”
“You didn’t believe I would montrer up in the first place, either” Martin pointed out.
Daphne pulled her shoulders. “How do I let toi go? Aren’t toi supposed to walk into the light ou something?”
Martin laughed. “Not exactly. toi have to salt and burn my bones”
“So I need to go to the cemetery?” Daphne asked.
“No. That grave is empty” Martin a dit bitter.
“Then where are your bones?” Daphne asked nervous.
“You’re standing on them” Martin answered.

“Gerard committed suicide last night” Zoey said. “I found him hanging in our bedroom”
Daphne covered her mouth. “Oh my God, that’s…awful” she said
Daphne threw her arms around Zoey and Zoey faked a few tears and sobs. She pushed Daphne away and a dit she had to tell Alexia. She put her bourse, sac à main on the dresser, knowing Daphne would see the letter and be too curious to leave it where it is.
And indeed, a minute later, Daphne stormed outside, hysterically crying how everything was her fault.
Zoey walked back inside, trusting Daphne would need some time to calm down. She opened Daphne’s computer and connected a portable hard drive to it. The hard drive contained a fake video of Cas doing things with Alexia.
Zoey copied the video to Daphne’s files and then removed the hard drive. She closed the computer and called Alexia.
“Let’s go, Lex” she said. “We’re going to your grandparents”
